In the crosshair: a model to whom a WhatsApp message changed his life

Yulieth Marcela Osorio, is a of 26 years old model from Medellín, mother and a hard worker. This beautiful model has been the center of attention since it performed a webcam show that became viral in WhatsApp, after a malicious person leaked it in this social network.

The camgirl tells us about her life experience, and struggles with those who have wanted to damage her name, because she says that more than a model is a mother, capable of facing any obstacle.

“I started as a model a few years ago, when I started my family did not know about my job, and because of this, my son’s father began to investigate what I was doing. When he discovered that I was a model, he reported on Social Services and then tried to blackmail me“. She comments that because of this she proceeded to make a complaint, however despite having the evidence the ex-couple only denied the extortion.

“Because I didn’t pay him, he sent photos to my family …”, says Yulieth, who also had to seek legal support to handle the children’s issue.

She says that her family is of Christian religion, and they were unaware of her job, because they live in different cities. “My sister called me to ask why my child’s backpack had pictures of my work. His father had used my son’s backpack as a method to send the material to my family with the intention harm me. So I had to explain to my sister what was happening … I also explained that with the work I did I had the opportunity to support my son, feed him and be well financially. So I put a barrier “if you do not contribute, do not judge me”, and they respected that. I did not have their support for the religious issue, but they did not judge me either. “

Years later something happened that I did not expect. A video became viral through WhatsApp; I was in a show next to another model. The messages had been sent to the people closest to Yulieth.

Without explanation and without objection, someone had invaded the life of the model again, using her work to point her out, so in a “finger snap” her nickname, her artistic name, and her work identity in the Web disappeared. She was only Yulieth, the model judged by all.

The identity of the one who sent the recording to her relatives is unknown, but as a woman and especially as a mother, Yulieth Osorio is a person of great strength who prefers to confront adverse situations.

The harassment didn’t weak her, she says that her sisters support her “with this last video, my sisters told me: People always judges without knowing the women who do that work, but when is your own sister, everyone wants to know more about it in order to support her, to know how to act and to be by her side.

She comments that she has been honest with the people close to her about the work she does, but she noticed that some have changed the way they saw her. As they begin to blur the lines that separate the model/interpreter in front of the camera, with the person who is off the web.

“Some people think that you do physically to other people what you do on the web, so there is social harassment when someone recognizes you”, the model says.

One of her life fundamental pillars is her son, and explains that despite having the laws on her side her greatest fear is that people judge her for the work she performs in front of the cameras and do not know her role as a mother.

“I had to close social networks, and change my phone number. But I will not stop fighting for the right thing, things have to be faced, I am not hurting anyone with my work, it is not among my plans to run away “, emphasizes the model.

She points out that her relatives have been victims of harassment and comments, but “Models can’t remain silents we must face fears and silence. We must explain to society the work we do, and it doesn’t define us as people. It is a simple job, sometimes easy, sometimes difficult, but we do it because we like it, we have our benefits, it allows us to handle our time and it doesn’t make us a sexual object or bad people, mothers or friends, it does not change our values or aptitudes” Yulieth concluded.

So far, the video that has been viralized by WhatsApp continues as matter of criticism, but this model is willing to make bad experiences into great learning, both for her and for other webcam models.
