Nervous about your first show on the webcam? We tell you how to control it

The first time in any situation or job is always a learning experience that involves self-exploration, as well as trial and error. That’s why it’s normal for your nerves to take over during your first show, it´s an intimidating moment for anyone.

  1. Tamed the anxiety: Days before your first transmission try practice muscle relaxation, it consists about stretching and consciously relaxing the muscles in a specific order.
  2. Imagine your show: and try to make a positive visualization of it. Forget the mistakes you can do and imagine a successful performance, that your users will adore, and that you could please many followers and win many tokens.
  3. Drink water: Drinking water seconds before starting your transmission will help reduce the stress you may have at the time, besides this will make the dry mouth disappear.
  4. Breathe: Although it seems like something common, this means that you will breathe slowly and deeply, taking the air into the abdomen. Inhale through the nose and take it to the abdomen, then exhale the air through the mouth gently. This technique reduces anxiety effectively.

Finally, at your first webcam presentation, be yourself. Introduce yourself to your users as a warm and empathetic model, surely your followers will help you to feel more confidence and more comfortable.
